Meet the Fresno Team Behind Elmstead Remodeling Fresno
When you call Elmstead Remodeling Fresno, you’re not getting a rotating cast of subcontractors. You’re getting a small, consistent crew that shows up in uniform, introduces themselves by name, and works the same way on every job, whether it’s a powder room refresh in Clovis or a full kitchen gut in the Tower District. We keep our team deliberately small so the people who start your project are the people who finish it. That stability matters. It’s how we protect your home, honor your schedule, and stand behind the work for 365 days after it’s done.
Our People

Graham Stein, Owner and Project Lead
Graham Stein founded Elmstead Remodeling Fresno to run a remodeling company that operates on written promises rather than handshakes and hope. He’s the person who walks your project first, asks the questions nobody else does, and puts the written price in your hand before any work starts. After over two decades in construction, Graham has learned that the best projects come from listening more than talking. He lives in northeast Fresno, keeps a well-worn notebook of cabinet measurements in his truck, and still walks every finished job before the crew packs up. You’ll get his direct line, and when something needs a decision, you won’t wait days for an answer.
Marcus D., Lead Technician
Marcus is our finish carpenter and the person most likely to be in your home on day one of framing. He’s certified in Schluter waterproofing systems and has built everything from custom shower benches to load-bearing wall headers across Fresno, Clovis, and Madera. Marcus operates by a simple rule he repeats on every job: measure twice, then measure again, because wood is expensive and assumptions are free. He’s also the crew’s unofficial materials censor, meaning if a cabinet arrives with a ding, Marcus is the one sending it back before it ever touches your kitchen. When he’s not on site, you’ll find him at his kid’s baseball games at Woodward Park.
Elena R., Senior Installer
Elena handles tile, flooring, and the detail work that separates a remodel from a renovation. She’s been setting tile for 14 years and has installed hundreds of showers with Schluter waterproofing systems across Fresno County. Her specialty is the visual details: grout lines that hold straight through a corner, transitions between rooms that feel intentional, stone layouts that use the slabs efficiently enough to keep material costs honest. Elena keeps a photo album on her phone of every finished shower she’s ever built, so when you’re deciding on a tile pattern, she’ll show you exactly how it looks installed rather than describing it. She has two rescue dogs and will always ask if you have pets before choosing adhesives or sealants.
Tyler J., Apprentice and Job Support
Tyler joined the crew three years ago and handles job site support, material staging, and the daily logistics that keep a project moving. He’s the person who lays the drop cloths down before a single tool comes inside, covers your doorways, and photographs the clean-up before the crew leaves each evening. Tyler is working through his carpentry training with Marcus as his mentor, and he’s already leading smaller jobs like vanities, baseboards, and closet build-outs in Fresno. He’s also the designated quiet-hours enforcer. If your kids are napping or you tell us there’s a baby in the house, Tyler will adjust the cut schedule and keep the loud tools outside until the coast is clear.
Styles & brands we work with

One Standard, Every Job
Every Elmstead Remodeling Fresno project runs on the same set of rules, and the crew names above are the people who enforce them daily. Drop cloths go down before any work begins. Shoe covers go on at the door and stay on until the crew is outside. The written price you receive before the job is the number we work to, not a starting point for surprises. Before the crew leaves each day, Tyler photographs the clean-up so you can see the state of your home without having to trust anyone’s word. And when the job is finished, the 365-Day Done Right Promise means Graham will come back and fix anything that isn’t right. Tile does not care about your timeline, but we work around that, and we will not call the project done until it is done right. Every Elmstead location is independently owned and operated, but this is the standard we signed up for, and it’s the one this Fresno crew delivers.
Who Should You Ask For When You Call?

Whoever answers the phone is a real person on our team, 24/7. If you’re calling about kitchen cabinets, ask for Graham. If you’ve got questions about waterproofing or tile patterns, ask for Elena. If you want to know when the crew will arrive and what they’ll protect first, ask for Tyler. We’d rather have you talk to the person doing the work than read from a script.
Call (559) 540-8453 to schedule a free estimate with the Elmstead Remodeling Fresno team. We’ll bring the drop cloths, the written price, and the people whose names you just read.
