Blanco Bathroom Remodeling: The Fresno Owner’s Guide
Blanco bathroom remodeling in Fresno typically costs $9,000 – $28,000 installed, depending on whether you’re replacing a single failed component or rebuilding the full shower and vanity wall. Most owners discover a problem the same way: a Blanco sink drain that no longer seals, a faucet cartridge that drips at 3 a.m., or a shower valve that turns stiff and then stops holding temperature. We stock Blanco-compatible replacement parts on our trucks for the most common failure points, and we’ll give you a written price before any work starts. If you’re in Fresno and your Blanco fixture is failing, call (559) 540-8453 and we’ll tell you over the phone whether it’s a parts swap or a bigger remodel.
Here’s what you need to know before you spend a dollar on parts or labor.
Which Blanco Models This Applies To

Blanco builds bathroom fixtures and sinks across a handful of product lines, and the part you need depends on which series your fixture came from. The big ones we see in Fresno homes are the Blanco LINUS, ANDANO, and ZEROX sink lines, plus the BLANCOSUPREME and BLANCOWAVE collections for undermount and drop-in applications. Each line uses its own drain assembly diameter and mounting hardware, which is where most DIY parts orders go wrong. A drain flange labeled “standard bathroom sink” will not always seat correctly on a BLANCOWAVE bowl, because the overflow channel geometry differs from generic fixtures.
How to identify what you have: look underneath the sink bowl for a molded model number starting with 511- or 516-, or check the original spec sheet if you kept it. The faucet cartridge is a different story. Blanco faucets use one of three cartridge types depending on the series and year, and two of the three are ceramic-disc cartridges that are not interchangeable with Delta or Moen parts, regardless of what a big-box store label suggests. If you’re replacing a Blanco cartridge, we match it by pulling the old one and reading the stamp on the brass body. Takes about ninety seconds once the handle is off.
One honest note up front: Elmstead Remodeling Fresno is an independent contractor. We are not affiliated with Blanco, and we don’t represent their warranty. What we do is stock the OEM and high-quality aftermarket parts that fit their fixtures, and we stand behind the installation with our own workmanship warranty and the 365-Day Done Right Promise.

Signs Your Blanco Bathroom Remodeling Is Failing
- Water pools around the sink flange after every use. The silicone seal or the rubber gasket under the drain assembly has degraded. On Blanco undermount sinks in particular, this shows up as a slow drip that only appears when the sink is full, because the weight of the water flexes the seal. It will not get better on its own.
- The faucet handle turns rough or sticks at mid-point. Sediment from Fresno’s water supply gets inside the ceramic disc cartridge and scores the discs. Once a disc is scored, the cartridge drips no matter how hard you crank the handle. Cranking it harder just strips the splines on the handle itself.
- Water temperature drifts during a shower. The pressure-balance valve in a Blanco shower system has a wax-element cartridge that fails gradually. You’ll notice it first when someone flushes a toilet and the shower spikes hot, then cold. That’s the valve no longer compensating for pressure changes.
- The pop-up drain no longer holds water or releases cleanly. The plastic pivot rod or the spring clip underneath the sink has worn out. This is the single most common Blanco bathroom part we replace on service calls in Clovis and northeast Fresno, and it’s usually a ten-minute fix with the right part on hand.
- Mineral crust around the faucet base or aerator that returns within a week of cleaning. Fresno’s hard water leaves calcium deposits that eat through the O-rings inside the faucet body. By the time you’re scrubbing the outside, the inside rings are already failing.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included

A focused Blanco parts replacement, like a cartridge swap or a drain assembly replacement, falls at the low end of our remodel pricing and usually lands between $300 and $800 installed when it’s a single fixture repair. A full Blanco bathroom remodel in Fresno, meaning a new sink, faucet, shower valve, surround, and vanity, runs from $9,000 to $28,000 depending on the size of the room, the condition of the subfloor and walls, and whether you’re moving any plumbing lines.
What drives the range:
- The wall condition. Fresno homes built before 1980 often have plaster over lathe behind the shower surround. Cutting into that to replace a valve body takes longer and costs more than drywall work in a newer Clovis build.
- The valve type. A pressure-balance valve is straightforward. A thermostatic valve with volume controls costs more for the part and the labor to rough in.
- Moving plumbing. If your Blanco sink or shower stays where it is, you save. If we’re relocating a drain or supply line, that’s additional work and permits.
Every price we give is written down before any work starts, line by line. That includes the Blanco-compatible parts, the labor, the permit if one is required, and the clean-up. We don’t hand you an estimate and then add change orders after the crew shows up. The price on paper is the price.
DIY or Call Us?
There are two things an owner can safely check before calling. First, confirm the model number under the sink or on the faucet base. Second, shut off the angle stops under the sink and see if the drip stops. If it does, the problem is isolated to the faucet or drain assembly, not the supply line. If the drip continues, you have a supply-side issue and you should stop there.
What we would not recommend is pulling a Blanco shower valve apart yourself. The cartridge sits inside a brass body that is soldered or threaded into the wall, and the retaining clip that holds the cartridge is under tension. If that clip slips, you can send the cartridge into the back of the wall cavity and then the wall has to be opened up. At that point a $400 repair becomes a $4,000 remodel. The same goes for any drain work that requires cutting pipe below the sink. That’s what we do for a living. Call (559) 540-8453 and we’ll give you a straight answer on whether it’s a parts swap or a bigger job.
FAQs

With our water conditions, expect 8 to 12 years from a Blanco faucet cartridge and 12 to 15 years from the sink bowl itself before hard-water scaling starts to compromise the finish. Shower valves tend to fail first, usually at the wax element in the pressure-balance cartridge, around year 8 or 9.
Some can. A drain pivot rod, a spring clip, and an aerator O-ring are all repairable with inexpensive parts. A scored ceramic disc cartridge cannot be repaired. Once the ceramic surfaces are scratched, the only fix is a new cartridge. We’ll tell you which one you’re looking at when you call.
A single-fixture parts swap takes 1 to 3 hours. A full bathroom remodel runs 2 to 4 weeks depending on the scope, and you’ll have that timeline written down before we start. We keep the project calendar updated, and Graham Stein writes every scope of work down before anything comes off the truck.
We stock the most common Blanco-compatible parts: drain assemblies, pivot rods, spring clips, aerators, and the two most-used ceramic cartridges. For less common series-specific parts, we order OEM and have them in hand within a few days. We’ll tell you at the first call which situation you’re in. Call (559) 540-8453 for a free estimate.
