Caesarstone Fence Installation: The Fresno Owner’s Guide
Caesarstone fence installation in Fresno typically costs $3,500 to $9,000 installed, depending on the linear footage, gate count, and whether we’re replacing an existing fence or setting new posts from scratch. Most homeowners discover they need this work when a windstorm off the Sierra foothills takes a section down, or when a post finally rots through at the base after years of irrigation splash. You’ll usually spot the problem first as a lean, a sagging gate, or boards pulling away from the frame – and once that happens, the whole run needs attention before adjacent sections start racking.
We keep Caesarstone-compatible fence components in stock at our Fresno yard, and Graham Stein writes every scope of work down before anything comes off the truck. That means you’ll know the exact price, the exact materials, and the exact day we start before you commit.
Which Caesarstone Models This Applies To

Caesarstone’s exterior line covers three main series: the Modern Fence (smooth, flat pickets in 6-foot panels), the Textured Fence (wood-grain embossed boards in 4-foot and 6-foot heights), and the Privacy Screen system (aluminum-framed Caesarstone infill panels used for courtyard walls and side-yard screens). Each series uses a different post profile, so matching the part to the series matters more than the color.
The easiest way to identify yours: look for a small raised stamp on the back face of any board, usually near the bottom rail. It will say “CS-MF” for Modern Fence, “CS-TF” for Textured, or “CS-PS” for Privacy Screen, followed by a four-digit date code. If the stamp has worn off, measure the picket width: Modern Fence pickets are 5.5 inches wide, Textured are 6 inches, and Privacy Screen infill boards are 4.25 inches. That measurement tells our crew exactly which parts to pull from the truck.
One compatibility gotcha Fresno owners run into: Caesarstone changed the post sleeve profile in 2021. Older panels (date code 20 or earlier) won’t seat into new-production post sleeves without a shim kit. We keep both profiles in stock because we’ve had too many homeowners buy the wrong post online and find out at assembly time.

Signs Your Caesarstone Fence Installation Is Failing
- Posts leaning more than 3 degrees out of plumb. In Fresno’s clay-heavy soil, this usually means the concrete footing has cracked underground or water has been pooling at the base. A leaning post pulls the rails with it, and within a season the pickets start binding against each other.
- Gate sagging or dragging on the latch side. The hinge posts take more load than any other part of the fence. If the gate scrapes the ground on opening, the post has shifted and the hinge lag bolts are likely working loose inside the post.
- Boards cracking at the top and bottom rail connections. Fresno summers run 100-plus degrees for weeks, and Caesarstone’s composite expands and contracts more than wood. If the installer didn’t leave the specified 1/8-inch expansion gap at each picket, the boards pinch and split at the screw points.
- White chalky residue on the board surface. This is oxidation from prolonged sun exposure. It doesn’t mean the board has failed structurally, but it does mean the UV stabilizer in the outer layer is breaking down, and the board will become more brittle over the next two or three summers.
- Wobble when you push on a mid-span section. A properly installed Caesarstone fence panel should not move when you push it with one hand. If it does, at least one post has lost its footing or the rail brackets have stripped out.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included

Here’s what our Fresno customers pay, based on the work we’re actually doing:
- Full fence replacement (50 – 100 linear feet): $3,500 – $9,000 installed
- Post replacement only (1 – 3 posts, with footing repair): $650 – $2,200
- Gate rebuild (hinges, frame, closer hardware): $450 – $1,400
- Single-section panel replacement (6 – 8 feet): $900 – $2,800
The range depends on three things: how much of the existing structure we can reuse, whether the old footings need to be broken out and repoured to code depth, and the gate hardware spec. We write the price before any work starts – no change orders, no “we found something unexpected” calls. The written price covers parts, labor, haul-away of the old material, and a full cleanup pass that includes shoe covers inside the house if we need access through a garage or interior gate. Every replacement carries our 365-Day Done Right Promise: if anything isn’t done right, we make it right.
DIY or Call Us?
A homeowner can safely check a few things first: walk the fence line and count how many posts are actually out of plumb, check whether the gate drags on the ground, and note where the sun hits hardest in the afternoon. That information helps us quote accurately over the phone.
What we don’t recommend is trying to reset a Caesarstone post yourself. These are not wood posts you can brace and pour around. The post sleeve is a structural part of the system, and if the footing isn’t dug to 24 inches below grade in this specific soil, the new post will fail within two years. We’ve also seen DIYers crack the composite sleeve by over-tightening lag bolts into the wrong pilot hole. Caesarstone panels are expensive, and one stripped post means buying a new sleeve from a supplier that may take two weeks to ship it. FAQs

How long does a Caesarstone fence last in Fresno?
A properly installed Caesarstone fence in Fresno lasts 20 to 25 years, with the posts typically outlasting the boards. The real limit is the hardware: gate hinges and latch sets usually need replacement at the 8-to-10 year mark. Call (559) 540-8453 if you want us to inspect your existing fence and tell you honestly how much life is left in it.
Can a cracked Caesarstone board be repaired instead of replaced?
No. Caesarstone composite boards can’t be glued or patched in a way that restores structural strength or stops water intrusion. The only correct fix is board replacement, and we always match the replacement to your existing date code so the color and profile line up. Call (559) 540-8453 and we’ll check what’s in stock for your series.
How long does a fence replacement take?
Most Fresno fence replacements we complete in two to three days, including old fence removal, new footings, panel installation, and gate setup. If we’re only swapping posts or a single section, it’s usually a one-day job. We schedule around your family’s nap and school hours where we can, and we use quiet tools during those windows.
Do you stock Caesarstone fence parts locally?
Yes. We keep Modern Fence, Textured Fence, and Privacy Screen components in our Fresno inventory, including both pre-2021 and post-2021 post profiles. That means we can often start a repair without waiting on a manufacturer shipment. Call (559) 540-8453 and tell us the stamp code on your boards, and we’ll confirm before scheduling.
